Message from the Committee

Since the inaugural Gala in June 2019, the Ajax Mayor’s Gala has raised more than $1,700,000 (net) to support organizations making a meaningful impact in our community. This incredible achievement would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors, guests, vendors, and volunteers—thank you for your unwavering support.

At the Ajax Mayor’s Gala 2026, Where the Stars Meet the Sea, guests will enjoy a gourmet dining experience set beneath the twinkle of the stars, the glow of the moon, and the serene meeting of the night sky and rolling seas. The Ajax Mayor’s Gala Committee has drawn inspiration from Ajax’s proud naval history and namesake—heritage that continues to guide and motivate us. Our theme of celestial navigation symbolizes the way Mayor Shaun Collier has steered Ajax over the past eight years, charting a steady course toward a vibrant, healthy, and growing community.

As always, the purpose of our Gala is to uplift charitable organizations and not-for-profits doing exceptional work in Ajax. Under our two-year commitment, the Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation (APHF) is our Charity of Choice for 2025 and 2026. Funds raised will support the purchase of multiple Automatic Drug Dispensing Units for the surgical and medical units at Ajax Pickering Hospital. These advanced systems will significantly enhance safety and accuracy for hospital staff and improve the care experience for every patient.

Additional funds raised will be directed to other charitable organizations supporting Ajax residents, with details to be announced on our Community Impact page.
