From touring the world with Up With People to performing on the open seas, singing for Pope John Paul II
to acting in countless theatrical production, Matt has spent a lifetime on stage entertaining, inspiring,
and connecting with audiences of all ages.

Matt is the board chair of Mainstage Theaters Company in Toronto, a committee member for numerous events in Durham, and an Emcee/entertainer.

Known for his energy, warmth, humour, and professionalism, Matt has hosted and performed at corporate galas, community celebrations, fundraisers, theatrical events, festivals, and charitable initiatives. His natural ability to engage audiences, think on his feet, and create an atmosphere of excitement and connection
makes him a favourite among organizers and guests alike.

Whether commanding the stage as an emcee, leading community initiatives, or supporting the arts through mentorship and advocacy, Matt believes in the power of storytelling, live performance, and shared experiences to strengthen communities and inspire positive change.

Music4Life Small Ensemble 

Music4Life Small Ensemble is an extension of the Music4Life String Orchestra, a community-based ensemble in Ajax with a mission to make music accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for all.

The ensemble features a blend of professional musicians and advanced players, delivering polished and engaging performances across a wide range of styles from classical and Broadway to jazz, film, and contemporary favourites. 

Music4Life musicians have performed at community concerts, cultural events, private functions, and collaborative performances with guest artists throughout the Durham Region and beyond.

Known for their versatility and expressive style, the ensemble brings both elegance and energy to their performances, creating musical experiences that resonate with diverse audiences and settings.
